"We had to burn it down". The "DPR’s" leader orders to restore the village, which was burned down by his fighters

The leader of the "DPR" Olexandr Zakharchenko ordered to restore the destroyed by the militants village Kozhevnia, Shakhtarsk district. He said this at a meeting with the rectorate of the unlicensed institution, the so-called Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture - separatist media report.

It is noted that at the meeting, "the rector of the Academy" Yevheniy Gorokhov said that the restoration project involves building of 20 houses for the villagers and renovation of all communications.

Kozhevnia village is known because a year ago O.Zakharchenko openly declared that it was destroyed by the militants themselves.

As previously reported, the leader of the "DPR" Olexandr Zakharchenko admitted that the terrorists completely destroy ostensibly "liberated" settlements. "For me personally this village is a landmark. It was our first serious fighting and the first offensive operation. Unfortunately, we almost destroyed this village in the course of fighting. And for me personally, as a man who had to burn houses to save his soldiers", - the leader of the militants said.
