The "DPR" sentences Ukrainian citizen to 11 years' imprisonment for alleged espionage

The so-called "military tribunal" of the “DPR” has sentenced a citizen of Ukraine Oleg Chulga, detained in February 2015, to 11 years in prison for allegedly spying for the SBU. This was stated by the press service of the so-called "Ministry for State Security", - separatist media report.

"On the basis of the collected materials incriminating espionage of O. Chulga, and his sincere acknowledgement as of December 2, 2016, on the Rights of the Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Military Tribunal passed a sentence, according to which O. Chulga is convicted of a crime under Article 321 of the Criminal Code of the DPR. He is sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 11 years", - the so-called "Ministry for State Security" noted.

It is reported that in 2014 O.Chulga assisted militants of the "DNR" in Slavyansk. There he was allegedly recruited by the SBU.

The "MSS" claims that the "spy" was in contact with the three employees of the SBU, who gave him the task to collect information about the movement of military equipment and deployment of paramilitary fighters.
