The 2017 Donetsk region budget was revealed

On Thursday, December 22, the budget of the Donetsk region was approved by the board of the Donetsk regional state administration.

The amount of the revenue part of the 2017 regional budget is expected to reach USD 315 138.91 thousand and consists of general and special funds.

Regional general fund budget revenues are expected to be USD 301 874.83 thousand.

Special fund revenues of the regional budget, taking into account transfers from the state budget, are defined in the amount of USD 13 264.08 thousand.

According to Mykola Skarga, the head of Finance Department of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, "the costs of the regional budget are still socially oriented".

"The draft of the regional budget for 2017 makes provision for the renewal of the financing institutions that are based on the territory uncontrolled by the Ukrainian authorities, after resuming their activities in accordance with the current legislation", - Mr. Skarga said in a reference to the draft decision.
