The question of the abolition of visa requirements for Ukrainians is not included in the agenda of the European Parliament plenary session in November. It is evidenced by the draft agenda of the session posted on the website of the European Parliament, - reports Yevropeyskaya Pravda.

The publication notes that the agenda of the next session of the European Parliament doesn’t include question of so-called suspension mechanism for the visa-free regime.

As previously reported, the EU Council and the European Parliament in early November will decide on the suspension mechanism for visa-free regime which is the main obstacle to the abolition of visas for Ukraine and Georgia. Rapporteur on visa issues in the European Parliament Maria Gabriel previously suggested that the issue of visa-free regime Ukraine might be voted by MEPs before the EU-Ukraine summit which will take place on November 24th. President of the European Council Donald Tusk said in a conversation with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on October 28th that prior to granting Ukraine visa-free regime of the EU had to complete its internal procedures.

As previously reported, further progress on visa-free regime for Ukraine will take place until a new mechanism for the suspension of the visa-free regime is approved.
