Avakov wrote that on his Facebook page, commenting on the statement of Foreign Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault on the aims of the meeting in the "Norman format" that will take place tonight.

"Maybe the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs had better demand the Russian aggressor to leave the occupied territory of Ukraine? Not squeeze Ukraine, calming the aggressor?! Why else does Ukraine such a format of negotiations?!" - said Avakov.
