Zelensky is not opposed to remote elections but says the matter is up to the Verkhovna Rada

“Ukraine may consider the possibility of holding online elections, but the Verkhovna Rada will have to find an appropriate legislative solution for this”, - President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with German TV channel ZDF.

“This is possible, but then parliament will have to seek and find a solution”, - the head of state said in response to a question about remote voting.

Zelensky noted that he had repeatedly advocated legislative changes that would allow citizens to vote online.

As previously reported, putin is ready to allocate one day for elections in Ukraine — on election day, he promises not to bomb the country.
