2,238 civilians, including 468 children, evacuated from the Donetsk oblast in one week

Between October 19 and 25, 2,238 civilians, including 468 children, were evacuated from the Donetsk oblast. The number of evacuated residents increased by 625 compared to the previous week, when 1,613 people were evacuated from the region. This was reported by Suspilne, citing data from the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration.

Daily evacuation figures for the week:

October 19 — 296 people, 43 children;

October 20 — 199 people, 30 children;

October 21 — 215 people, 68 children;

October 22 — 574 people, 213 children;

October 23 — 438 people, 59 children;

October 24 — 253 people, 25 children;

October 25 — 263 people, 30 children.

In addition, due to the deteriorating security situation, the area subject to the compulsory evacuation of children has been expanded to cover the entire territory of the Kramatorsk and Sloviansk territorial communities, said Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration.
