Chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavel Zhebrivskyi promises to launch the new grant programme for small and medium businesses in Donetsk region in 2017. He wrote about that on his Facebook page.

The head of the region reminded that the Donetsk Regional State Administration had allocated 100 million UAH for the programme of partial repayment of interest on loans for small and medium-sized businesses. The programme did not meet expectations: since the beginning of the year only eight entrepreneurs have submitted their projects for participation.

"Next year we will launch a new grant programme for small and medium-sized businesses in Donetsk region. The new grant programme will look like this: we announce a contest, send entrepreneurs for training in Europe, they observe, get inspired and ideas, come back here to form their business plan and we provide the means for its realization," - wrote Zhebrivskyi.

According to him, if the 5-year business plan is implemented, the entrepreneur will not have to return the funds allocated.

"So, step by step, we will revive the class of kulaks in Donetsk region", - said the head of the region.
