Zelensky announced talks by the Ukrainian delegation in the U.S. tomorrow and the day after tomorrow

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced meetings between Ukrainian negotiators and the American side on Friday and Saturday. He said this during a visit to Pryluky together with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, Ukrainska Pravda reports, citing Reuters.

Zelensky said that Ukrainian negotiators would be in the US on October 9–10 for talks with the American side.

The President also commented on U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's statements about a deadlock in the peace talks. Zelensky called on Washington to increase pressure on russia instead of offering it economic cooperation.

“You cannot, on the one hand, negotiate with russia on some economic projects for the future, and on the other hand, talk about a diplomatic deadlock. We are not in a diplomatic deadlock. Shut down its entire economy. Sew russia's mouth shut. Do not feed them with your sales, impose sanctions on their weapons”, - Zelensky said.
