"... the total water deficit in the republic amounts to about 110,000 cubic meters. To eliminate it, work on creating a new water intake facility has been underway since last year. Design work has already been completed and 40 wells have been drilled. The water deficit is planned to be fully covered by 2028", - the "LNR media" reported on September 24.

According to them, the so-called "acting minister of construction and housing and communal services of the LNR", Duplenko, reporting to the "government", said that "work is underway to address the water deficit in Krasnyi Luch and Antratsyt".

"Krasnyi Luch and Antratsyt continue to face a significant water deficit — about 30,000 cubic meters. To address the problem, the Territorial Development Fund is replacing the water pipeline between Alchevsk and the Petrovska pumping station. Of the 22 km of planned work, 12 km are expected to be completed by the end of the year, which will allow the settlements to be supplied with an alternative source of water", - the "LNR" occupation authority official is quoted as saying.
