SBU detained four militants in Avdeyevka and a hiding-place of the subversive group – reports the agency press center.
Earlier it was reported that the Security Service of Ukraine together with the departments of the National Guard, Police and Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a special operation in Avdeyevka to prevent acts of sabotage on the sites of the city. Preventive security officers conducted interviews with more than a hundred local residents, checking information on their possible involvement in a terrorist organization of the "DPR/LPR".
"As a result of the operation the law enforcers found a direct involvement of four interviewed in the activities of illegal armed militias.
During the operation, they also found the storage of explosives , Russian-made food products, cigarettes with the symbols of the so-called "Novorossia" and the uniform of the Ukrainian military. According to operational information, the hiding-place was for subversive group of the so-called "DPR",- said the statement.
According to the SSU, militants disguised as soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "planned to carry out a series of terrorist attacks on infrastructure facilities of Avdeyevkathis week".
