“Russian strike on the Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv oblast was not an isolated incident. It is another deliberate attack on American business interests and part of a broader russian strategy to harm the U.S. economy and push American companies out of international markets. Only strength will put moscow in its place. In this regard, we again call on the US House of Representatives to pass the Sanctions Against russia Act”, - Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha wrote on X on September 4.
Earlier, President Zelensky said that russians had attacked the Coca-Cola plant in the town of Velyka Dymerka, the Kyiv oblast, with UAVs. It is one of the largest soft drink manufacturing facilities in Europe. Zelensky noted that russia could not have failed to know that it was striking an American enterprise.
“Coca-Cola is already such an enemy to them that they are burning it with Shaheds. A clear russian signal to America”, - Zelensky said.
