Kiev Appeal Administrative Court upheld the claim of the Pension Fund of Ukraine and overturned the earlier decision by Podolsky District Court of Kiev that the PFU was obliged to consider the statement of the former Prime Minister Azarov to resume the payment of pension to him. It was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Pavel Rozenko on his Facebook page.

"Kiev Appeal Administrative Court on the appeal of the Pension Fund has cancelled the decision of Podolsky District Court of Kiev on the restoration of the pension payment to Nikolay Azarov," - wrote Rozenko.

He also promised that the "saga of pension payments to officials of Yanukovych regime will be held in the courts and so on."

As previously reported, the Podolsk District Court of Kiev ordered the Pension Fund of Ukraine to consider the statement of N. Azarov’s representative to pay him a pension, not obliging the PFU to resume payments.
