As a result of the enemy attack, energy units and infrastructure of Metinvest's Zaporizhzhia enterprises, as well as the main and auxiliary facilities of coke and blast-furnace production, were damaged. The operation of the metallurgical plant has currently been completely halted, while the other production sites are operating at reduced capacity. Specialists are assessing the consequences of the enemy attack, the possibilities and timeframe for restoration, and carrying out the necessary emergency repair work.
"Today and tomorrow, flags at Metinvest enterprises are flying at half-mast as a sign of mourning for the workers who were killed", - the statement said.
"Tomorrow, a day of mourning has been declared in the Zaporizhzhia oblast in memory of those killed as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia that occurred on the night of August 11", - said Head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast State Administration Ivan Fedorov.
