Trump is not yet "certain" about granting Ukraine a license for Patriot systems

"The decision on licensing the production of Patriot interceptor missiles for Ukraine has not yet been made. U.S. President Donald Trump noted that, at this point, he cannot confirm Washington's readiness to allow Ukraine to manufacture interceptor missiles for Patriot systems", - Polske Radio reported on July 31, citing the Financial Times.

"I'm not sure. We're looking into it", - the U.S. president said.

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that russia has likely received a new batch of ballistic missiles from North Korea and may be increasing their use in strikes against Ukraine. This is indicated by the renewed use of North Korean-made missiles after a break of nearly a year.

According to the agency, one of the missiles allegedly supplied by North Korea may have been used by russia during an attack on a village near Kryvyi Rih. An entire family was killed in that strike. The forensic examination is still ongoing, but the available evidence already points to a high probability that the missile was manufactured in North Korea.
