"I paid tribute to the late Senator Lindsey Graham at a special memorial service in Washington D.C. We met quite recently, and it is highly symbolic that Senator Graham's last foreign trip was to Kyiv. We discussed important issues — continued support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on russia. We are now seeing those efforts become reality", - President Zelensky wrote on social media on July 29.

Zelensky believes that the best way to honor Senator Graham's memory is to achieve what he fought for, particularly with regard to Ukraine.

"We must support this goal and not allow russia to prolong this war. We are convinced that America has all the necessary tools. President Trump has all the necessary tools. It would be right to work together in exactly this way. I thank all members of the United States Congress and Senate for their support. And thank you, Senator Graham. I am sincerely grateful that Ukraine has friends like you", - the President of Ukraine said.
