One militant was killed and another one wounded in the explosion of the tanker in the occupied area of Makeyevka. It was stated by the so-called "deputy chief of  the NM of the DPR" Eduard Basurin, - reports the "official" website of the pseudo-republic.

"One soldier of the NM of the DPR was killed and one wounded in a car being blown up by a land mine, planted by Ukrainian subversive groups, on the route of the tanker," - said Eduard Basurin.

Previously, publics in the social networks, controlled by the militants, reported on the undermining of the car with ammunition.

Eduard Basurin noted that there had been a very powerful explosion due to fuel combustion, the blast had shattered windows in six nearby schools (№8, 18, 32, 44, 58, 109), lyceum №8, medical school, three kindergartens (number 121, 154, 191) and residential buildings.

"And as a result of the dispersion of submunitions of the explosive device, a power substation located near the road was damaged. Therefore, Scheglovskaya-Grubokaya mine in Krasnogvardeysk district of Makeyevka was de-energized and 126 miners were blocked underground," - said Eduard Basurin.

Earlier separatist media reported that shelling at the occupied city had caused such effects or damage.
