"According to the Ukrainian side, on the evening of the previous day the russian army attacked the civilian bulk carrier Golden Leo off the coast of Odesa with three cruise missiles", - the Telegram channel "BILD na russkom" reported on July 20.

According to the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine, there were 18 people on board — a crew of 17 citizens of India and Syria, as well as a Ukrainian pilot, who was among the 10 people killed.

"The eight surviving crew members were brought ashore. The Ukrainian Navy states that Kh-59/Kh-69 missiles struck the starboard side of the vessel, after which a fire broke out on board. The Ukrainian side described the incident as a deliberate attack on a civilian vessel and a violation of international humanitarian law", - the report states.
