"Dairy producers have warned retail chains about delays in product deliveries due to the fuel crisis. This is stated in a letter from the association 'People's Farmer', which unites more than 14,000 farmers and processors across 72 regions of russia and was sent to retailers", - “The Moscow Times” Telegram channel reported on July 2, citing Forbes.

"Agricultural producers have effectively become hostages to circumstances that make it impossible to properly fulfill contractual obligations regarding delivery deadlines", - the letter states.

According to People's Farmer, producers in the Udmurt Republic, Volgograd oblast, and Astrakhan oblast are already experiencing delivery deadline problems.

In this regard, dairy suppliers asked retail chains not to impose fines, penalties, or other liability measures for late product deliveries. The Pooling platform, through which tens of thousands of shipments across russia are processed every month, has recently been recording widespread delivery delays, Pooling.me Commercial Director Alexander Ageenkov told Forbes.

There are also signs of shortages of socially significant goods in certain regions, including perishable products such as meat, milk, and eggs, confirmed INFOLine founder Ivan Fedyakov.
