Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that peace negotiations between russia and Ukraine are currently impossible. He accused Kyiv of allegedly carrying out terrorist actions and deliberately slowing down the peace process. This was reported by the russian propaganda outlet RBC.

“Hard to imagine how one could negotiate with the Kyiv regime at this point”, - he said.

The kremlin spokesperson also accused European leaders of talking about peace while simultaneously “emphasizing their intentions to assist the Kyiv regime in producing new types of weapons”.

Putin’s press secretary also commented on the fuel supply situation in temporarily occupied Crimea, where disruptions have arisen following Ukrainian strikes on russian military and logistics infrastructure. According to him, the russian Ministry of Energy is working to prevent a deepening of fuel problems on the peninsula.

“The authorities are developing a set of measures to address certain fuel issues in Crimea”, - he said.

Earlier, the leaders of Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France put forward five conditions to putin that must be met in order to achieve a just and lasting peace.
