Sybiha: one day of war with russia costs Ukraine about $450 million

One day of war with russia costs Ukraine approximately $450 million. The year 2026 could become decisive for achieving peace, however, without the participation of the United States this is impossible. This was stated by Andrii Sybiha at the international security conference PISM Strategic Ark Conference. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine.

“About $450 million is what one day of war costs Ukraine. In addition, we pay with the blood of soldiers. This is the greatest challenge for us, because we are paying the highest price”, - Sybiha said.

According to him, this year could become key for Ukraine in terms of achieving peace, however, U.S. involvement is necessary.

“I do not believe that it is possible to achieve a real process of concluding our peace efforts without the American side. It is impossible. We need their involvement, as well as their influence and pressure on russia”, - the minister noted.
