A vessel with grain that Ukraine considers stolen by russia will not be unloaded in Israel. This is reported by The Times of Israel, citing an Israeli official.

The cargo in question is wheat and barley that was on board the Panama-flagged vessel Panormitis. According to the publication’s source, the decision not to accept the cargo was made by the Israeli importer, not the country’s government.

The situation has caused diplomatic tension between Ukraine and Israel. Earlier, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha stated the intention to respond to attempts to use russia’s so-called “shadow fleet”.

“We warn all entities and states that we will respond firmly to any theft of our grain”, - he emphasized.
