French actor Jean Reno wrote a book about Ukrainian children abducted by russians. As the actor himself explains, he came up with the idea for the book “Escape” when he learned several years ago about around 20,000 Ukrainian children abducted by russia. This was reported on April 29 by the Telegram channel ZN.UA.
“I considered it madness that these children were taken to have their brains washed. I don’t engage in politics, I wanted to turn it into a novel”, - said the 77-year-old Reno to French media.
The book tells the story of a former masseuse, Emma, who works for the French foreign intelligence service DGSE. Under cover, she travels to Siberia to infiltrate a russian center where abducted Ukrainian children are brought for detention and “brainwashing”, and to document the crimes of the occupiers.
As reported earlier, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for putin and russian children’s ombudsperson Maria Lvova-Belova in March 2023 on suspicion of their involvement in the unlawful deportation of children from the territory of Ukraine.
