Consequences of the nighttime attack on Kyiv: 5 killed, including a child, 21 people injured (PHOTO)

At night, russia attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones. “Destruction has been recorded in the Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Desnianskyi districts”, - reports the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The Obolonskyi district: parked cars caught fire, nearby a warehouse building, a tire service, and a shop building were damaged. According to preliminary information, 2 people were killed, and 6 were injured, including 4 ambulance workers and 2 police officers who arrived at the scene.

The Podilskyi district: at one location, there was a strike in an open area, as a result of which the facades of residential buildings were destroyed. Under the rubble of one of the houses, 2 dead were found, one of them a 12-year-old child, and 3 more people were injured by glass fragments.

At another location, destruction of the facades of two hotels and adjacent buildings was recorded. 2 people were injured.

At another area, a strike was recorded in front of residential buildings, facades were destroyed, doors in some buildings were blocked, and 3 injured people were found.

Also at another site, a one-story residential house was destroyed; 2 people were rescued from under the rubble, including 1 child.

At yet another location, there was a hit on the 6th floor of a sixteen-story building; 10 people were evacuated to fresh air. Fortunately, there was no fire and no injuries.

The Desnianskyi district: a fire broke out in a two-story residential building. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Shevchenkivskyi district: hits were recorded on a playground and near a residential building, with no casualties.

Rescuers and relevant city services are working at the scene.
