“One person was killed and three more were injured due to russian shelling of the Donetsk oblast. During March 8, the police recorded 1,149 hits along the front line and in the residential sector of the region. Six settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, the settlement of Shabelkivka, the villages of Bohorodychne and Dobropillia. Fifty-four civilian objects were destroyed, including 50 residential houses”, - the police of the Donetsk oblast reported on March 9.

The russians dropped three KAB-250 bombs on Shabelkivka, killing a man and damaging 38 private houses. The enemy carried out five strikes on Druzhkivka: three civilians were injured, and an apartment building, a private house, and an administrative building were damaged.

Sloviansk was under attacks by enemy drones of various types: 10 private houses were damaged. In Mykolaivka, as a result of a UAV strike, an infrastructure facility was damaged.
