"Today 200 Ukrainian families received the most long-awaited message: their loved ones are returning home. And this is always good news for all of us, for the entire country – the return of our people to their native land", - the head of state wrote on his Telegram channel.
Among those returning are the defenders of Mariupol, the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv oblasts, and Zaporizhzhia. Soldiers of the Armed Forces, the State Special Transport Service, border guards and National Guard members.
Earlier Zelensky stated that russia is holding 7 thousand Ukrainian POWs, while more than 4 thousand russian military personnel are detained in Ukraine.
