The first Ukrainian defense plant has started operating in the United Kingdom

"The first Ukrainian defense plant is beginning operations in the United Kingdom — a production complex of the company Ukrspecsystems, whose drones have long proven their effectiveness in high-tech warfare conditions", - reported on February 25 the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

"Ukraine is fighting under conditions of constant missile strikes, destruction of infrastructure, and threats to production facilities. And our engineers are creating solutions that are born directly from frontline experience. They improve systems not based on theoretical research results, but on the outcomes of real combat use. Therefore, launching production in the United Kingdom has deep strategic logic. This is not a shift of the center of gravity from Ukraine. It is an expansion of our shared capabilities and the creation of a second layer of resilience that guarantees continuity of production", - the statement said.

Zaluzhnyi emphasized that "we are keeping the center of engineering expertise in Ukraine, while integrating production into the British defense space. We are creating a new quality of partnership, where allies not only support each other, but also form a common industrial security base".
