"I am working on the directions of combat missions in the Southern operational zone. During another working trip, I visited advancing units and units holding the defense on one of the key sections of the front. I held a substantive meeting with commanders. We discussed the state of execution of combat tasks, problematic issues, and proposals for their resolution. We identified priority steps to strengthen defense and support our units. Logistics, evacuation of the wounded, uninterrupted supply of ammunition, technical support of units — necessary conditions for our resilience", - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported on Telegram on February 23.

"The situation in this sector is difficult. The enemy continues to exert pressure, actively uses small assault groups for infiltration, employs artillery, unmanned systems, and sometimes armored vehicles. But our soldiers are not only holding the defense but also successfully conducting offensive operations. Since the end of January this year, in the Oleksandrivske direction, Air Assault Forces groupings and adjacent units have regained control over 400 square kilometers of territory and eight settlements", - Syrskyi noted.

According to him, he had the honor to personally commend servicemen of the 82nd and 95th Air Assault Brigades for courage, resilience, and professionalism in battle, and to thank everyone who holds the line every day.

"Our plan remains unchanged: effective execution of assigned tasks with maximum preservation of the lives and health of our defenders, strengthening defense capability, and increasing capabilities in every sector of the front. We are working systematically and in coordination to liberate Ukrainian land", - Syrskyi emphasized.
