An elderly man and 3 young brothers were killed as a result of an attack on a residential building in Kramatorsk

“On February 12, 2026, at 21:15, the troops of the aggressor state attacked Kramatorsk. The residential sector was hit. As a result of a direct strike on a private house, two 19-year-old young men and their 8-year-old brother were killed”, - the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported.

In addition, the victims’ 43-year-old mother and their 65-year-old grandmother sustained bodily injuries. The women were diagnosed with blast injuries and traumatic brain injuries with concussion, bruises to the chest, spine, and arm, as well as contusion.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings over a war crime (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Later, the head of the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, reported that the death toll from the strike on the residential building had risen to four. The fourth victim was a man born in 1962.
