Estonia’s intelligence: putin believes in his victory, deliberately drags out peace talks and is trying to deceive the U.S.

“Moscow is buying time (in the peace negotiations on Ukraine – OstroV) and trying to deceive the United States”, - said the head of Estonia’s foreign intelligence, Kaupo Rosin, to AP, “BILD in Russian@ Telegram channel reported on February 10.

According to Kaupo Rosin, the russian leadership has no intention of engaging in constructive cooperation with the United States during peace talks on Ukraine. Estonia’s intelligence says this is evidenced by “internal russian discussions”. The question of how to cooperate constructively with the United States, on the contrary, is not discussed at all.

Rosin also said that putin still believes he will someday be able to achieve a military victory in Ukraine — which means the war could last several more years.
