The number of attacks by militants over the past day decreased, but there is no full ceasefire in the ATO area. It was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of Defence on the ATO Andrei Lysenko at the briefing today, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.

"Yesterday the situation in the ATO area improved slightly. The number of enemy attacks decreased, the occupiers did not use tanks and tube artillery. This is due, primarily, to the visit of the Foreign Ministers of the European countries to Ukraine and Donetsk region," - he said.

"But there is no full ceasefire. Militants continue to fire at almost all key points of conflict," - said A.Lysenko.

The agreement on a week’s ceasefire in Donbass came into effect at midnight on September 15th.
