Budget for 2017 provides increase of salaries for teachers and doctors by up to 30% - Prime Minister

The budget for the next year provides the increase in salaries for education and healthcare employees in the amount of 20-30%. It was stated by Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman at today's Cabinet meeting, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.

"Now I'd like to draw attention to the fact that we are now starting as social initiatives of the government. And it was nice that yesterday the President at the meeting of the National Security Council announced some of the priorities that we identified together in the budget which should be reflected in public policy. It is about an increase in salaries. The increase in the amount of 20-30% will be provided to education and healthcare employees,” - he said.

"This is one of our priorities and I hope for the support of MPs. We can express any desire to raise wages in words, but what we offer is a real wage increase which coincides with the capabilities of our economy," - said V. Groysman.
