"Another difficult night for railway workers. The enemy struck railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv oblast", - Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) reported on October 31.
In Sumy, the enemy hit a passenger depot — other company facilities and rolling stock were damaged or destroyed. Replacement cars were quickly provided for train No. 779/780 Sumy–Kyiv to transport passengers. The train departed on schedule.
In addition, railway infrastructure near Lozova was damaged — train No. 228/227 Husarivka–Ivano-Frankivsk is following a modified route with a delay.
It was also reported that in Sumy, 11 people, including four children, were injured as a result of a russian strike on residential buildings.
