Zelensky announced the decision to revoke the citizenship of “individuals found to hold russian citizenship”

“The presence of russian citizenship among certain individuals has been confirmed — the corresponding decisions regarding them have been prepared. I have signed the decree”, - stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky following a security meeting.

He did not name any individuals; however, the internet is actively discussing the possible revocation of Ukrainian citizenship from Odesa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. Trukhanov, in turn, categorically denies having a russian passport.

The announced decree has not yet appeared on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
