Representatives of militants, who control parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, said that after full implementation of the Minsk agreements no Ukrainian flag would be raised over the cities under their control. They said that at the press conference in Moscow in one of the state agencies, responding to a question whether the flag of Ukraine would be raised again over Donetsk and Luhansk after implementation of the Minsk agreements, - reports UNIAN.

In particular, the representative of occupied Donetsk in the Trilateral Contact Group to resolve the situation in the east of Ukraine Denis Pushilin said the Ukrainian media were not interested in the issues of economic well-being, peace settlement, peace and reports from the contact line but the question who "will shout Slava Ukraini the most loudly".

"We normally treated times when we had the Ukrainian flag, but it became hated to many - perhaps millions - of our citizens," - said Pushilin.

According to him, it happened so because under the flag and the anthem of Ukraine " they were destroyed".

"This issue is very painful for us, we could discuss it, if Ukraine did something in terms of implementation of the Minsk agreements. As nothing has been done, it is way too early to talk about transfer of thr border control. It is possible that we won’t have to talk about it at all," - said Pushilin.

The representative of occupied Luhansk in the Trilateral Contact Group Vladislav Deynego stated that Ukraine "is now waving a Nazi flag " and so there was no point in talking about it.

As previously reported, the Minsk agreement, first of all, provide for the restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine by granting a temporary status of the "districts with a special order of the local government" to the occupied territories of Donbass.
