Peskov keeps lying about russia’s openness to Ukraine talks and says he doesn’t know when putin and Trump might speak

"We maintain our position, an open position towards the negotiation process, and continue to state that for us, the preferred resolution of the Ukrainian crisis is through political and diplomatic means. Our position is well known, and it has not changed in any way", - said the spokesman of the russian dictator, Peskov, on September 16.

Also, according to him, at the moment there is no understanding of the timing of the next conversation or personal meeting between putin and US President Donald Trump.

At the same time, on September 16, the head of the russian foreign ministry Sergei Lavrov called potential peacekeepers in Ukraine "occupiers" and "legitimate targets" for russia during a roundtable with foreign ambassadors dedicated to the "settlement of the Ukrainian issue".
