The use of these technologies is impractical due to their high cost, said the so-called “minister of construction, architecture, and housing and communal services” Vladimir Dubovka to local journalists.
He confirmed that “all these options have already been considered more than once”, but a decision was made to abandon them.
To improve water supply, the “minister” suggests “intensifying network repairs to reduce water losses”, activating “water delivery to residents with the involvement of equipment from patron regions”, and deploying “water transfers to fill shallow reservoirs”.
As another option, the reuse of wash water from filtration stations is proposed.
As previously reported, the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast is experiencing critical difficulties in providing water for the population, agriculture, and industry.
