The office of the Russian Industrial Union of Donbass company is on fire in Donetsk. It is co-owned by former governor of Donetsk, now MP from the Opposition Bloc Sergey Taruta and Oleg Mkrtchyan. Donetsk, August 17th, 2016

Reference. IUD was founded in 1995. It is an integrated holding company which owns stakes in companies of the mining and smelting complex. The corporation consists of Alchevsk Metallurgical Complex, Dnipro Metallurgical Complex named after Dzerzhinsky, Dunaferr and ISD-Huta Czestochowa Metallurgical Complexes.

In January 2010 they announced the purchase of 50% + 2 shares of Ukrainian IUD corporation by Russian investors led by Alexander Katunin (the owner of Swiss Carbofer trader, former co-owner of Evraz) with financial support from VEB. The owners of 49.99% shares of IUD were existing shareholders - former head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Sergey Taruta and Oleg Mkrtchyan.
