Ukraine received €1 billion from the EU using revenues from immobilized assets of the russian Central Bank

The funds will be directed toward covering critically important budget expenditures. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on May 8.

"This tranche is part of a fair and consistent approach: the aggressor must pay for the destruction it has brought to our land", - Shmyhal emphasized.
