Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed by his decree Sergey Ivanov from the post of the Head of the Presidential Administration. It was reported by the Kremlin press service.

The head of state is also reported to appoint S. Ivanov on the post of Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport by another decree.

Sergey Ivanov had been holding the post of the head of the Presidential Administration since December 2011. Previously, he served as deputy chairman of the Russian government. In Putin’s circle Ivanov had a position of radical actions in relations with Ukraine - a military solution to the conflict.
