The so-called "Donetsk Garrison Military Court" has started the "substantive consideration of the criminal case" regarding the murder of U.S. citizen and "DNR" propagandist Russell Bentley, nicknamed "Texas", in Donetsk. This was reported on December 20 by local information resources.

"The court has begun substantive consideration of the case", - an unnamed source from the propagandists was quoted as saying.

As reported earlier, the initial hearing on the murder case of Russell Bentley, scheduled for December 5, was postponed because the accused were not delivered to the "Donetsk Garrison Military Court".

Previously, the russian Investigative Committee identified all individuals involved in the brutal murder, which reasonably implicates four russian military personnel. They detained the kremlin-loyal American, mistaking him for a spy. The occupiers tortured "Texas" to death and burned his body in a car on the outskirts of Donetsk.
