The enemy struck Ukraine on the morning of December 13, reportedly using 93 missiles and nearly 200 drones. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.

"Another russian missile strike on Ukraine—cruise missiles, ballistic missiles. According to preliminary reports, there were 93 missiles, including at least one North Korean missile. Eighty-one missiles were intercepted, 11 of them cruise missiles shot down thanks to our F-16s. Additionally, the russians deployed nearly 200 drones in this attack. This was one of the most massive strikes on our energy infrastructure", - Zelensky noted.

According to him, "This is putin's so-called 'peace plan'—to destroy everything. This is how he seeks 'negotiations'—by terrorizing millions of people".

"He is neither limited in range nor in acquiring the necessary components for missile production. Oil provides putin with enough funds to believe in impunity. The world needs a strong reaction: a massive response to a massive strike. Only then can terror be stopped. If leaders are afraid to react or grow accustomed to terror, putin sees it as permission to continue. We need Patriots to intercept these missiles and prove that terror will not achieve its goals. Sanctions against russia must be strengthened to truly affect missile production. Putin's rhetoric does not stop him—force is needed to bring about peace. Force that is unafraid of its ability to stop evil. The world can stop this madness, and it starts by stopping the madness in moscow that has been ordering terror for over 20 years. Strength is needed. Ukraine is grateful to everyone who is helping", - the President stated.

Regarding the consequences of the attack: 50% of the Ternopil oblast is without power, according to the oblast administration, and there are "negative consequences" in the area. In the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, energy infrastructure was hit, but no casualties were reported. In the Lviv oblast, the enemy targeted energy facilities. Due to the shelling, there will be changes in the electricity outage schedules.

According to U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink, russia targeted key Ukrainian infrastructure, specifically energy and transportation systems.
