Ukrainian Air Force: Six cruise missiles were shot down over Ukraine

Six enemy cruise missiles were intercepted and destroyed over Ukraine on the morning of November 21, as reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

"During an air defense battle, units of the Air Force’s anti-aircraft missile forces destroyed six Kh-101 missiles. No significant consequences were reported from other missiles", - the statement said.

It was clarified that between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM on November 21, russian forces launched a missile attack on the city of Dnipro, targeting enterprises and critical infrastructure. Various types of missiles were used in the assault: an intercontinental ballistic missile launched from the Astrakhan oblast;a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile fired from a MiG-31K in the Tambov oblast; seven Kh-101 cruise missiles launched by Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Volgograd oblast.

There has been no information about casualties or injuries at this time.

"We once again urge citizens not to delay responding to air raid signals! We also call on media and bloggers to responsibly share information about the military operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and threats to the Ukrainian state", - the statement emphasized.
