In the city of Selydove, the Donetsk oblast, russian occupiers shot at a civilian car with peaceful residents. The Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation, according to a report from the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office.
"On October 27, 2024, several Telegram channels published information about the killings of civilians by occupiers in Selydove. The released video shows members of the aggressor state's forces likely shooting at a civilian car in the settlement with automatic weapons. During the attack, two civilians were inside the car, one of whom was injured. Ukrainian military personnel arrived at the scene, pulled the injured person out of the line of fire, provided first aid, and evacuated civilians from the area under attack. Additionally, according to media reports, the enemy shot two women in the city. Internet sources also indicate that in the private sector, which had practically not been affected by active combat, the bodies of deceased civilians were found. This suggests that the killings were carried out, likely after the area had already come under the control of the occupiers", - the Prosecutor's Office stated.
Urgent investigative (search) actions are being conducted to establish all the circumstances of the events and to identify the victims of the occupiers.
