FC Shakhtar will be able to carry out home matches in Donetsk only after refusal to participate in the Championship of Ukraine. This was stated by the so-called "Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DP" Mikhail Mishin, - reports the DAN separatist website.

"We have no reason to hold football matches of the Championship of Ukraine. Therefore, FC Shakhtar could come back to Donetsk, if it refuses playing in the Ukrainian Football Championship," - said "the Minister".

"Shakhtarcan play in Donetsk but only in the championship of the DPR ",- added he.

According to Mishin, the football club of Rinat Akhmetov has to go through all the procedures stipulated by the current legislation of the "republic" before holding a match in Donetsk areas.

That was the response of he self-proclaimed "Minister" to the words of the head coach of FC Shakhtar Mircea Lucescu, who told the Romanian media about the intention to hold the matches of "miners" in Donetsk already in 2016 after the restoration of the Donbass Arena stadium.

As reported by OstroV, FC Shakhtar is a club of European level. In its turn, the self-proclaimed "DPR" is ready to organize its own championship of the "republic". All interested teams will take part. Currently, not famous amateur clubs such as Khimik (Gorlovka), Thorez, Tsementnik, "Mospino" and other contenders for the "big leagues" are playing in the "DPR".
