Enemy launched nearly 3,000 strikes on the Donetsk oblast in a day: casualties reported, 29 civilian objects damaged in 6 settlements (PHOTO)

Shelling hit six settlements in the Donetsk oblast over the past day, resulting in three people being injured. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, and the Donetsk oblast police on Telegram on October 17.

"Russian forces carried out 2,922 strikes along the frontline and in residential areas. The strikes occurred the cities of Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and the villages of Mykolaivka and Romanivka", - the police reported.

Three residents of the Donetsk oblast were injured, and 29 civilian structures, including 25 houses, were damaged.

It was specified that in Pokrovsk, russian forces struck with an FAB-250 aerial bomb and artillery, injuring a civilian and damaging 17 private houses and a gas pipeline.

In Chasiv Yar, an artillery strike injured one person and damaged a private house.

Mykolaivka was attacked by drones and artillery, resulting in an injury and damage to a private house, a social facility, and two vehicles.

In Kurakhove, two private houses were damaged, while four houses were hit in Romanivka.

According to the OMA, 222 people, including 19 children, were evacuated from the frontline over the past day.
