Special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate cleared the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant of occupiers – media

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has liberated the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. RBC-Ukraine reports this, citing sources in the Defense Forces.

According to the source, as of today, September 24, the last of the plant's 30 buildings has been fully cleared.

The outlet added that the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant is a significant enterprise in the Kharkiv oblast, specializing in the production of hydraulic systems and aviation units for both civilian and military equipment. The conditions of the war have had a substantial impact on its operations.

In early May of this year, russian forces launched a renewed offensive in the north of the Kharkiv oblast. Since then, the russians made minimal advances and ended up at the aggregate plant, where they were blocked by Ukrainian forces.
