According to the region's police, there were 2,816 strikes reported on September 20. Seventeen settlements were under fire, with 58 civilian structures damaged, including 43 homes, a hospital, an educational institution, a store, businesses, and critical infrastructure.
In Chasiv Yar, drone and artillery strikes killed two civilians and damaged a private house. Kostiantynivka was hit by Grad MLRS and artillery, killing one person and damaging an apartment building, 15 houses, power lines, and gas pipelines.
In Kurakhove, russian forces struck with three guided KAB bombs and artillery, injuring one civilian. The attack caused damage to an apartment building, six houses, and critical infrastructure.
Zoria was shelled by russian troops using Smerch MLRS, wounding one person and damaging three houses. There were two injuries in Kurakhivka, two in Rivne, one in Zarichne, and one in Serebrianka, which was attacked by a drone.
In Siversk, three KAB bombs were dropped, and Grad MLRS strikes hit a hospital and an educational institution. In Lyman, Smerch MLRS damaged four apartment buildings. In Pokrovsk, two businesses were affected, and in Novoukrainka, nine households were damaged.
Additionally, overnight, russian forces opened fire on four other settlements. In Bilytske, two educational institutions were damaged; in Dobropillia, an infrastructure facility was hit. In Kramatorsk, four apartment buildings, an educational institution, and an administrative building were damaged, while Sloviansk escaped without damage.
The Donetsk Oblast Military Administration reported that another 731 people were evacuated in the past 24 hours, including 103 children.
