McDonald's Ukraine branch of the international network of fast food restaurants has no relation to DonMak cafe which was opened in occupied Donetsk and offers similar dishes. The company states it on its Facebook page at the request of Ukrainian to comment on the situation.

McDonald's company has no relation to this institution. In 2014 we suspended work in the city because of the inability to guarantee safety of guests and staff," – says the report.

On Saturday DonMak fast food restaurant was opened in occupied Donetsk to replace McDonald’s. Both menu and packaging design was copied from McDonald’s, but, at the same time, names of dishes are russified.
