"DNR" head claims reconstruction of 6 apartment buildings has started in destroyed Avdiivka

Denis Pushilin, the leader of the so-called "DNR", stated that reconstruction has begun on six apartment buildings in the ruined city of Avdiivka. He made this announcement during a broadcast on a russian propaganda channel.

"The front line is still too close, and we cannot yet fully engage in reconstruction work as we see in Mariupol. However, a number of restoration efforts are underway, and six apartment buildings are currently being rebuilt", - he assured.

Earlier, the "DNR Emergency Ministry" reported that they had not yet begun demining the city, or what remains of it.

Avdiivka has been occupied by russian troops since February 17, 2024. The city, after brutal rocket attacks and bombings by russian forces, is left in complete ruins.
